Mechanical Sewer Cleaning

About the Service

This is a method of electromechanical drain and sewer cleaning using a spiral or a Bowden rod. It is most commonly used for cleaning drains in sinks, washbasins, showers, urinals, and toilets. The Bowden rod, which operates using a chain tool, is capable of milling sewers to remove solid deposits, grease buildup, and ingrown roots. With this cleaning method, the machine operates at high speeds and can thoroughly clean the walls of the sewer pipes and handle protrusions and obstacles within the sewer line. We use inspection camera monitoring during this process to ensure our sewer and drain cleaning is as precise and efficient as possible.

Advantages of this method:

  • fast and efficient cleaning, immediate effect
  • suitable for internal domestic sewage systems and horizontal piping
  • minimal restriction of building operations

Applications

  • Domestic sewage systems
  • Sewer connections
  • Rainwater downpipes

We provide: mechanical cleaning, milling of pipes and drains using powerful milling technology. We utilize Bowden and motorized milling machines for our work.

Rothenberger R600 Motorized Spiral

For mechanical cleaning of sewer and drain lines, we use the proven Rothenberger R600 motorized spiral. This powerful and compact machine is ideal for removing blockages in both indoor and outdoor lines from DN 50 to DN 150. It allows for efficient and gentle pipe cleaning even in cases of heavy clogging—without the need for disassembly.

RIDGID FlexShaft

When cleaning drain pipes in both interiors and exteriors, we rely on modern RIDGID FlexShaft technology. This compact and powerful machine allows for precise and gentle milling of pipes with a diameter of 50–100 mm without damaging the walls. The system utilizes rotating chain tools inside a flexible Bowden cable, enabling efficient work even while simultaneously using an inspection camera. FlexShaft is ideal for removing grease, incrustations, and soft deposits.

Picote

For more demanding interventions in domestic sewage systems, we utilize Picote machines—high-speed rotating cutters designed for mechanical cleaning and the removal of hard deposits, incrustations, or old grease buildup. This tool is ideal for pipes with a diameter of DN 50–150 mm, especially in places where standard spiral cleaning is insufficient. This cutter allows for precise intervention without damaging the pipes, even in complicated layouts. In combination with an inspection camera, we achieve maximum control and efficiency throughout the entire process.
